We modify a standard pump tube by slightly enlarging both ends. This enhancement enables the easy connection of two different sized tubes without the usual inconvenience. For instance, this feature is particularly useful when working with the internal standard pump tubing for ICP-OES / ICP-MS instruments, where such adaptability can greatly simplify setup and maintenance.
